Oakville Neighbourhoods and Surrounding Real Estate Grandeur – Part 3

The beauty and the charm of a home are best revealed when it is set on a picturesque, tranquil neighbourhood. This is a universal phenomenon that holds true in any corner of the world. In fact, the immense impact that a surrounding neighbourhood has upon defining the chic and the grandeur as well as, weaving a homely atmosphere around a home is simply undeniable.

In this context, the vast housing zone that stretches across the Oakville Ontario region deserves to be uniquely mentioned. This development is actually redefining the scope of success for the country’s vast real estate sector. In erstwhile posts, we described the salient features of some plush residential neighbourhoods, across the region. In continuation to that here we are bringing up some of the other chic housing zones across the region.

Bronte

The initial cluster of this residential sector consisted of the Village of Bronte. However, in course of last thirty years adjoining areas, mostly to the western boundary of the village, have come under this sprawling neighbourhood.

  • The residential zone is uniquely famous for its spectacular array of lakefront properties.
  • Some 100 or so years ago, this neighbourhood existed as a separate town and gradually, it became a constituent of Oakville County.  
  • It is most renowned for its harbour and hence, is considered as Oakville’s other downtown.  
  • The locality is ideal for retired and semi retired people, who can afford to take life more casually.
  • Huge, spacious bungalows and set of attractive and comfortable condos adore the most spectacular line of housing properties across the region.
  • The zone is home to a number of exotic restaurants and superb walking zones.

Glen Abbey

As the name suggests, this residential zone is home to the Glen Abbey golf course – one of the most renowned golfing turfs in the world. In fact, this residential sector happens to be one of the earliest well-planned neighbourhoods across the entire geographical region.

  • Most of the properties that stand along Glen Abbey today were commissioned between 1980s and ‘90s.
  • Housing properties around the region are stacked with a wide and contrasting range of modern amenities.
  • The entire zone is dotted with shady trees that provide exclusive comfort to pedestrians. 
  • The neighbourhood is exclusively renowned for excellent educational institutes that have flourished here.
  • The locality is known to provide an exemplary social life with a vast community library, the iconic Monastery Bakery and an elaborate trail system that is ideal for jogging and walking, etc.

Considering all these striking amenities around the localities, large number of Canadian homebuyers is focusing on these neighbourhoods. Oakville Real Estate Surrounding the Plush Neighbourhoods – Part 2

A beautiful home is something that everyone prefers dwelling in. However, beauty of a home never remains restricted only within its four walls. Rather, it automatically merges with the appeal and the charm of the surrounding neighbourhood as well.  

In the previous post, some of the plush residential neighbourhoods across Oakville Ontario region have been discussed. In continuation to that blog, here we are presenting some intrinsic details on other housing zones surrounding the vast geographical stretch. As such, any premier Oakville real estate company counts on the attractive layout of these housing neighbourhoods, along with that of plush designing of the buildings to attract customers.

Joshua Creek

  • It is a plush neighbourhood across the region that is renowned for large number of luxury homes.
  • This residential zone is located close to the industrial hub of Toronto, as well as the city of Mississauga is also pretty nearer to it.
  • The area started developing in mid 1990s and the earliest settlers moved in during late 1990s. However, a second phase of development started around 2004.
  • Considering its stages of development, Joshua Creek is a newer subdivision that is located south of Dundas.
  • The neighbourhood can be easily accessed through highways 403 and 407, as well as by the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
  • Residential amenities that the zone offers include excellent education institutes and large shopping plazas.
  • The residential neighbourhood is known for double storey detached homes and luxury bungalows.
  • In fact, Joshua Creek is the ideal place to set up home for people who have to commute to and fro Toronto on a regular basis. 

Wedgewood Creek

  • The residential locality of Wedgewood Creek started coming up in the mid 1980s. However, the first batch of residents moved in during the late 1980s.
  • As it is located just west of Joshua Creek, interestingly, residents of Wedgewood Creek enjoy the same advantages in commuting as that of the other neighbourhood.  
  • The locality is famous for extensive shopping facilities and tree-lined shady pathways.
  • In a recent trend, many of the existing housing properties in the area are undergoing thorough overhauling to facilitate modern lifestyle for residents.
  • Iroquois Ridge High School is a famous educational institute across the zone that is attended by scores of local teenagers.
  • The locality is mostly dotted with sprawling double storey structures bearing 4 bedroom accommodations, along with double garage space.  
  • As far as social life around the region is concerned, Iroquois Ridge Community Centre and Library is a famous landmark.
  • There is a host of residential amenities that the region offers, which include plush indoor swimming pool with water slide, exclusive skate boarding park, children’s playground, extensive tennis courts and soccer field and sprawling public parks, etc.

Considering all the pros and cons – relevant to the existing buildings and surrounding neighbourhoods – a huge number of home buyers are focusing into this region. As such, the local real estate sector is almost on verge of redefining success, for once and for all! Luxury Homes across Plush Neighbourhoods in Oakville – Part 1

A great neighbourhood contributes sufficiently in making of a great home. Ideally, the “homely” feeling should go beyond the four walls of one’s home and extend into the surrounding locality. In fact, while choosing a new home, people invariably assess the surrounding community. Therefore, the premium residential neighbourhoods, especially in the contemporary times, are designed with enough precision to provide the residents with all the essential and luxury amenities. In the context of high-end residential neighbourhoods in Canada, the Oakville township has attained an unparallel prominence. This majestic locality is coming up right across the shores of Lake Ontario.

Bronte Creek

  • It is one of the newest colonies in the region, which has come up between 2003 and 2012.
  • Geographically, it is nestled between Bronte Road and the Oakville Burlington town line. The Bronte Creek marks its border with the Bronte Creek Provincial Park.
  • The neighbourhood has come up on the location of erstwhile Richview Golf Club. As such, the meadows, ponds, sand dunes and most of the other landscapes have been retained in the newly formed residential neighbourhood.  
  • The region is noted for large detached homes and sprawling luxury town homes.
  • It is ideal for growing families that require larger amount of space.

Falgarwood

  • The neighbourhood came up in early 1960s. It is located just above the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) and is almost equidistant from both north and south Oakville.
  • The neighbourhood is noted for large plots, ranch style bungalows, two-storey homes with extensive backyards, wide streets dotted with large shady trees.
  • Some of the premier educational institutes of the region are located within walking distance from this plush neighbourhood. It is the nearest location to downtown Oakville.  

The key attractions of this entire neighbourhood are the serene atmosphere and host of latest amenities. In fact, the region churns out a unique warmth and friendliness that is hard to miss even on a first visit. Considering all these it is obvious that the housing properties located across these neighbourhoods have considerable demand in the market.
